2019 Orthopedic Surgery Conferences

Aloha! We invite you to join us for the Orthopedic Surgery Conferences June 15-19, 2019 at the wonderful Grand Wailea Resort on Maui, Hawaii. This program is being specially arranged for Orthopedic Surgeons, Registered Nurses, Physician Assistants and other Associated Healthcare workers who have an interest in learning more about Orthopedics. This conference is jointly sponsored by the Consortium for Continuing Medical Education Hawaii, a joint project between the Medical Association Hawaii and the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii, and the Kaiser Department of Orthopedic Surgery Hawaii. 16.0 hours Category 1 CME Credits provided.

Course Ideas

Upon the completion of this orthopedic conference, the participants can be able to:

  • 1. Discuss the present pros and cons related to current health care law nationwide and regionally.
  • 2. Review the numerous arthroscopic non-surgical as well as surgical techniques for shoulder and hip pathology.
  • 3. Understand and advance individual use of the electronic medical record.
  • 4. Review the current advancements in orthopedic disorders.
  • 5. Discuss the current ideas in bone defects, their solutions and joint replacements in orthopedic surgery.

Intended Audience

This program has been developed for Orthopedic Surgeons, Registered Nurses, Physician Assistants and other Allied Healthcare workers who have an interest in Orthopedics. Also surgeons who need to gain vast knowledge about bone related disorders can take part in this conference. The Conference will replenish the brilliant forum to encourage surgical ideas and establish associations as well as to make up exciting discussions. Extended orthopedic opportunities will foster communications between representatives. Designation Statement This activity has been organized and implemented in accord with the Vital Areas and policies of the Certification Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint venture of the Consortium for Continuing Medical Education (HCCME) Hawaii and Kaiser Permanente Department of Surgery.

The HCCME is credited by the ACCME to deliver continuing medical education courses for physicians in the health care field. The Hawaii Group for Continuing Medical Education describes this live activity for a supreme of 16.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.
